Dual-SIM phones, two M-Pesa balances — finally clear
Two SIMs used to mean one confusing merged balance. Keshio Pro now shows per-line M-Pesa balances and lets you filter your ledger by SIM.
The dual-SIM money problem
Many Kenyans run two lines—work and personal, Safaricom and Airtel, or a business till line beside a private number. Both can receive M-Pesa SMS. Most finance apps treat the inbox as one pile, so the “balance” on screen is whichever SMS arrived last—not the wallet you meant.
What Keshio does now
Keshio already reads provider SMS on your phone. With Keshio Pro · Dual-SIM wallets it also remembers which SIM (Android subscription) delivered each message.
That unlocks:
- Balances by SIM on Home — SIM 1 and SIM 2 side by side
- Filters on Home, Transactions, Income, Expenses, Categories, and history screens
- All SIMs when you want the classic merged view
Free users keep the familiar single merged balance. Multi-SIM data is still captured on-device so upgrading unlocks the UI without a full re-import.
Who it is for
- Dual-SIM phones with M-Pesa on more than one line
- Anyone tired of guessing which wallet a till payment hit
- Pro members who already use live SMS sync and want line-level clarity
Privacy stays the same
SMS is still parsed on your device. Dual-SIM is identity for balances and filters—not cloud storage of your messages.
